DE.CALC returns with his sixth release on Mechanical. A change of pace, compared to his Jungle-focused break experiments, this is a slower and less frenetic offering that maintains the familiar energy and sound-design aspects of previous releases. A hardware-only production with abused 909 drums, modular synth patching, and field recordings combining to form a heavy take on techno and breaks culture.
